Project Manager UK (m/f/d) – Full Time

In Mainz, Germany

This is where your skills come in

 

This is the right position for you if you have a passion for languages and project management. At Textbroker, these two disciplines work together hand in hand to deliver the best content possible to all of our clients.

Your mission: You hold the reigns and are firmly in charge of our UK platform (www.textbroker.co.uk).

 

In detail this means

 

  • You keep an eye on who registers as a client and closely supervise your new clients – whether they need author suggestions or feedback on their briefings: you are their primary contact, you help them navigate through the platform, and you actively approach them.
  • You also advise and support your authors: you give them tips on how to work with clients, clarify technical bugs, and provide them with helpful tutorials and blog articles
  • You monitor the journey of your customers’ orders: from activation to the successful delivery of the text, including plagiarism check and matching with the right author
  • You get to know your authors: you know who specialises in what kind of text, i.e. who is the expert on which topic, you can recommend them to your clients, and you occasionally check the quality of their work
  • Brexit is not a thing for Textbroker: if necessary, you support other Textbroker platforms in their daily work and you discuss current matters in weekly meetings with the entire EU department
  • You will take care of Textbroker UK’s online presence by publishing regular blogposts and actively using social media
  • You translate marketing emails and software features from German – the English version serves as a template for other languages

 

What you bring to the table

 

  • High language proficiency in English required (business level)
  • University degree/training in communication, languages, humanities or similar
  • Initial work experience in customer service and the service industry is an advantage
  • Enjoyment in dealing with people and eagerness to help
  • Curiosity, initiative
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good knowledge of German required (B2)

Platform Manager UK (m/f/d)

Communication in English is your passion, explaining and supporting are your strengths! You recognise potential for optimisation and know how to offer the right solutions to questioners at the right moment – in a friendly and attentive manner. 

 

In detail this means

 

  • Platform management: using the Textbroker software as a platform manager at www.textbroker.co.uk (incl. order activation, plagiarism checks, processing rejected texts) 
  • Answering support requests and helping our clients and authors via email and via phone, both on technical and thematic issues (feedback on briefings, advice on working with authors) 
  • Cooperation in Quality Management: maintenance and use of the author database, possible editor activities  
  • Helping out as needed on our international platforms  
  • Onboarding: intensive assistance including information research of all new clients 

What you bring to the table

 

  • Successfully completed vocational training with a call centre background or a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship and very good knowledge of the service sector or a completed comparable course of study 
  • Ideally, work experience in a service-oriented industry or in sales  
  • Sales affinity: you are good at selling and enjoy social interaction; you’re persuasive as you advocate the Textbroker mission statement 
  • You are curious and proactive, and you have imagination for new approaches 
  • Negotiation-fluent English required 
  • Good knowledge of German required (B2) 

Working student in Community & Quality Management

  • You offer our freelance writers individually tailored feedback right from their start on our platform and you show them ways in which they can proceed from there.
  • You put together relevant information about each freelancer, so that each talent gets the right tasks on our platform.
  • You know our community so well that you can recommend the right freelancer for our clients’ projects in no time at all.

 

 

Your set of skills

 

  • You know English and French fluently, both in written and spoken form.
  • You are well versed in spelling, grammar and punctuation and you are not afraid to share that knowledge with our community.
  • You are interested in a long-term cooperation with us.
  • You are structured, motivated and treat people with dignity and respect.
