Everyone likes a Happy Birthday, and Textbroker is no different. On 1st February, 2012, the Spanish and Dutch platforms were launched. Both platforms celebrated their first birthday last week, and enjoyed looking back on one full year of delivering quality content. At the launch of the platforms, the first orders were excitedly awaited by around 1,300 writers, all of whom were able to register the week before. The chance to earn money with their talent for writing was greatly received.
Bwoah, haven’t you grown
Over just one year, both platforms have grown tremendously, bringing clients and writers together. On textbroker.nl alone, 20,000 orders have been processed and completed to date. Around 5,000 Spanish speakers are registered on our Spanish site, and together, over 800 clients are happy to be placing their orders on the two sites.
Country Managers Marlies Ootes and Carolina Guerra have been taking care of the platforms since their launch last year. They know exactly what clients need and what their writers enjoy working on: “More than anything else, we get requests for product descriptions. Although Spain is still feeling the impact of the financial crisis, our success at conferences and trade shows shows that even in difficult times, people still need high quality content,” said Carolina. Carolina, in the meantime, does not just deal with requests from Spanish Radio, but also conducts Webinars on Content Marketing.
Well Connected and Newly Designed
“For our Dutch Portal, we’ve already got a strong network of authors and SEO-Experts, who I’m looking forward to working with again this year,“ enthused an excited Marlies Ootes. Following a year of pioneering work as the country manager, Marlies is taking her talents to lead the Textbroker Client Services team, and has passed the Netherlands baton to Arie Tollenaar, who has taken over as country manager: “I’m going to carry on where Marlies left off and continue to offer both clients and authors the best service we can.“
The Textbroker Design has been newly re-worked and re-launched for Spain and the Netherlands. Ready for another great year with clients, authors and quality content, the two sites are set to go. Happy Birthday!
